First-night responder with Penniston and Cabansag. Returned to site on second night and was present during second incursion. Provided contemporaneous Jan 1981 USAF witness statement. Has been notably CONSISTENT across decades — has publicly contradicted Penniston's later embellishments rather than echoing them.

After the sighting

Multi-decade VA disability claim. 2014-2015 VA granted full medical disability with legislation invoking UAP language inserted by Sen. Reid's office. Congestive heart failure / mitral valve disease at unusually young age. British MoD FOIA confirmed elevated radiation readings (~7-10x background) at landing site.

Research notes

Strongest first-night Rendlesham witness in terms of CONSISTENCY. VA disability award is a real, documentable institutional acknowledgment of injury, even if not formally certifying UAP cause.
