Narrative

In 2021, an authentic IC Controlled Access Program's scope was expanded to include a UAP reverse-engineering mission without sufficient justification. AARO confirmed the program never recovered or reverse-engineered any UAP or extraterrestrial spacecraft and the CAP was subsequently disestablished due to inactivity, absence of mission need, and lack of merit. AARO notes Persons 4, 7, 8 and Interviewees 1, 3, 13 were responsible for the expansion.
