Narrative
At 0425Z on 3 December 1956 near Hugo, Colorado, a 34-year-old rancher observed three graduated white/yellowish lights arranged like a totem pole, approximately 25 feet apart, parented as one object. The lights skimmed the surface moving east to west; the lights faded out sequentially from top to bottom. Observation lasted approximately five minutes. The Assistant Operations Control Officer indicated possibility of aircraft but investigation was undertaken.
