Narrative
On 5 December 1954 at approximately 0140 hours local time, Mrs. Lucille Dawson of North East, Pennsylvania observed an unidentified flying object near her home. Newspaper accounts described it as ship-like with two rows of windows. Mrs. Dawson reportedly saw the phenomenon twice (Saturday and another time). Multiple unrelated observers also reported the ship, including Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wilkinson. The detachment was not notified until 3 February 1955.
