Narrative

On 29 September 1956 at 0018Z (night), a civilian in Hamilton, Ohio reported a basketball-shaped object the size of Mars, red on bottom and green on top. The object appeared and faded like a star, blinking continuously. Observed at 90 degrees azimuth, 20 degrees elevation, for two hours via ground-visual with binoculars. Weather was clear. 1/Lt Edward Larson, Intelligence Officer at the 664th AC&W Squadron Bellefontaine Ohio, believed the UFO to be an astrobody. The UFO was not picked up by radar; no aircraft in the area.
