Narrative

US Army Reserve UH-1H Iroquois crew (Coyne, Healey, Yanacsek, Jezzi) reported a near-collision UAP that 'pulled' the helicopter from 1,700 ft descending to 3,500 ft climbing with collective bottomed. Magnetic compass inoperative after encounter. Ground witnesses corroborated. Formal Army incident report filed. Coyne testified at UN July 14, 1978.
